Shipping Company based in central Athens is seeking to employ an experienced Dry Bulk Fleet Operations Manager, preferably with Captain’s seagoing experience. Tanker experience to be beneficial

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing all day-to-day operations aspects of vessels and voyages
• Closely monitoring and coordinating vessels operations with focus on optimizing performance
• Liaising in accordance with Charter Parties with all relevant parties (masters, agents, charterers, brokers etc.) and communicate with P & I clubs for cargo related matters
• Proactively preventing and resolving disputes
• Experience with freight collection

PROFILE

• Able to make decisions under pressure and equipped with strong analytical and reasoning skills
• Fluency in English and computer literacy
• Familiar with Benefit ERP systems
