We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Technical director / Fleet Manager to join our Technical Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical management and operational performance
• Monitor vessel maintenance, repairs, drydockings, and technical projects.
• Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, statutory, and company requirements.
• Prepare and manage technical budgets, cost control, and procurement activities.
• Monitor vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and technical KPIs.
• Support inspections, audits, and vetting preparations.
• Evaluate technical risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.
• Previous sailing experience as Chief Engineer
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience managing tanker and dry vessels
• Strong knowledge of drydock planning, vessel budgeting, maintenance systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Danaos, PMS systems, and vessel performance monitoring tools will be considered an advantage.
