A Shipping Company, is seeking to recruit a Technical Superintendent to join our Athens office for our wet & dry fleet.

Skills and experience:

• University degree from NTUA or from a foreign University and/or ex Chief engineer experience.
• Minimum 2 years office experience
• Experience on oil tankers preferably on chemical sector, (FRAMO)
• Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably on DANAOS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership and management skills
• Time management and organizational skills

Job Requirements:

• Monitor vessel's PMS and act proactively
• Monitor and evaluate machinery performance
• Oversee daily technical operations
• Being familiar with Class / ISM / / Flag requirements and surveys
• Supervise, coach, train vessel's staff
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports
• Team player and effective communication with other departments.
• English and computer literacy
• Project oversight, coordinate on various technical projects ensuring completion on time
