Sea Traders, a well-established shipping company located in Glyfada and managing a fleet of bulk carriers, is seeking a HSSE Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review HSSE reports and forms from vessels
• Ensure compliance with work/rest hour regulations.
• Conduct Safety, Security, and Navigation audits fleet-wide.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Actively contribute to Risk Assessments.
• Oversee ISPS Code implementation and compliance.
• Assess vessel readiness for RightShip and third-party inspections.

Key Qualifications:

• Mariner's Degree as Second Officer (Chief Mate) with sea-going experience on bulk carriers
• Experience in vetting and RightShip inspections
• Excellent command of the English language 
• Proficiency in computer use (MS Office, email, quality/safety management systems)
• Previous experience in a shipping company office is desirable
