Alpha Bulkers, a leading ship management company specializing in the operation of large dry cargo vessels, is seeking an experienced Chartering Manager to lead and strengthen our commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of chartering brokers
• Price and execute spot, short-term, and long-term charter contracts
• Negotiate Charterparty terms (voyage and time charter)
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and charterers
• Collaborate closely with operations, technical, vetting/marine, legal and bunkering departments to ensure efficient execution of fixtures
• Provide strategic input on market positioning, commercial opportunities and fleet deployment

Requirements

• Minimum 20 years of commercial experience in the dry bulk sector
• Proven track record and strong network within the dry bulk shipping market
• In-depth knowledge of the FFA (Forward Freight Agreement) market and its strategic use in risk management
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel as required
