Shipping company with Bulk Carrier Vessels seeks to employ a Crew Manager/Senior Crew Operator.

Minimum qualifications:

• 5 years professional experience in a senior position in a Crew Dept. of a shipping company
• B.Sc. in Maritime studies, Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent command of English
• Computer literacy, knowledge of Benefit system would be considered an asset

Responsibilities include, among other relevant duties:

• Coordination of crew changes and tickets
• Monitoring crew selection and rotation in cooperation with relevant office departments
• Ensuring compliance with all crew regulations and industry standards including ITF and Union related matters
• Managing budget and controlling costs for crew operations
• Handling crew claims
• Following-up on daily crew matters.
