Union Marine Enterprises SA (www.ume.gr) in Piraeus, technical and commercial manager of bulk carriers, is seeking to employ an experienced professional for the position of Crew Manager.

Candidates’ minimum qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Maritime studies, Human Resource Management or a related field.
• 5 year minimum experience in a senior position in the Crew Dpt of a Ship Management Company.
• Proficiency in English and computer literacy in the use of ERP.
• Excellent knowledge of International Regulations e.g. STCW, MLC, Flag (Greek/ FoC).
• Fluent in implementing industry standards e.g. Rightship Crew Welfare, DryBMS (Areas 9-13), ITF and Union related matters.
• Capability in building and managing long-term crew development strategies.
• KPI and Crew performance handling.
• Auditing monitoring and improving manning agency performance.
• Communication and conflict resolution skills.
