Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. is one of the leading international container shipping companies in the world. Our Regional Head Office for the Mediterranean area, based in Athens, is looking for a new team member to join our Commercial Department.

Key responsibilities include:

• Pricing management for Europe outbound export business from Northwest Europe and the Mediterranean
• Conducting market research and analysis for regular reporting to management and Head Office
• Free time management and analysis to address DnD (Demurrage & Detention) issues
• Creating and updating reports, statistics, and relevant systems
• Internal coordination with agencies and sales teams

Requirements:

• More than 2 years of regional pricing experience in a shipping line or freight forwarder
• Good understanding of the European container trade
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Solid knowledge and skills in MS Office applications
• Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, patience, and a team-oriented mindset
• An academic background in Commercial, Economics, or Shipping studies is desirable
