We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented HSQE Assistant.

Requirements: min.+ 2 years of office experience in HSQE working with ocean-going vessels and willingness to participate in our internal deputization scheme for future departmental growth. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of Maritime Studies or the Merchant Marine Academy and possess a solid understanding of ISM, ISPS, MLC, TMSA, and vetting processes, including SIRE 2.0 and RightShip (RS). Proficiency in English (with certification), Microsoft Excel, and platforms such as OCIMF and Q88 is required, while familiarity with Danaos ERP is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to multitask within deadlines. The role involves assisting in the preparation of vessels for SIRE and RS inspections, reviewing company policies and procedures, supporting office TMSA processes, collaborating with the Operations Department for vessel clearances, monitoring implementation of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring compliance with the Company’s Integrated Management System and international regulations, and coordinating the execution of equipment-related services.
