Pleiades Shipping Agents S.A., based in Kifissia, seeks to employ a full-time Assistant Marine/HSQE Superintendent with about 3 years of experience in similar position.

Candidate profile:

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or Merchant Marine Academy
• Sea-going experience will be considered a plus
• Knowledge of ISM, TMSA and vetting [SIRE] processes
• Fluency in both written and oral communication in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and hands-on experience with OCIMF/Q88 platforms
• Availability to Travel
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proactive approach

Responsibilities

• Assisting in preparation of the vessels for SIRE Inspections
• Review company policies and procedures
• Assist with office TMSA preparation
• Work closely with Operations Department for vessel clearances
• Preparing the vessel for Port State Control and Flag inspections
• Being member of the incident investigation team, propose corrective/preventive actions and present findings
• Ensuring compliance and efficient implementation of the Company's Integrated Management System and International Regulations onboard vessels
