Aegean Shipping Enterprises M.C. is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate for its HSQE Department.

The ideal candidate should cover the following :

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the same department.
• Good knowledge of National & International Regulations, including ISM/ISPS/MLC, IMO, various Flag Rules, TMSA and SIRE 2.0 awareness.
• Experience with Internal & External ISM/ISPS/MLC audits/inspections, as well as PSC, Flag Sate and third-party inspections.
• Strong command of both verbal and written English communication skills (mandatory).
• Organizational skills and high sense of responsibility.
• Willingness and ability to travel for onboard visits and audits.    

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the completion and record-keeping of departmental SMS Forms.
• Following up and renewing various ship certificates.
• Following up and monitoring the findings from Internal/External/Flag/PSC/SIRE audits/inspections. 
• Supporting and assisting in the preparation processes for Flag Changes and new acquisitions.  
• Carrying out audits (ashore and/or on-board), when necessary.
• Assisting and providing support to the HSQE team on departmental issues.
