 Qualifications:

• Sea service of at least 3 years in rank of Chief Engineer on LNG/LPG vessel(s)
• Bachelor/Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Marine) with min 2-year experience in Superintendent position
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Basic knowledge of Main & Auxiliary Engines.

Job Description  

• Ensures that vessels are operated, maintained and repaired according to Company/Class Requirements, International Regulations, Industry Standards
• Provides technical support to vessels, troubleshoot, and coordinate with third parties for technical assistance.
• Monitors and addresses vessel needs on stores, spares and services in coordination with Supply Department.
• Monitors testing of critical equipment and systems ship’s crew.
• Reports on technical non-conformities and follow up action.
• Ensures that all certificates are valid and arranges necessary inspections.
• Monitors the regular testing of critical and stand-by equipment and systems
• Attending the vessels at frequent intervals
