Oceangold Tankers Inc. is seeking a proactive and experienced HSQE Officer to strengthen our HSQE team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure fleet-wide compliance with ISM, ISPS, MLC, and ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards.
• Coordinate and support vetting inspections (SIRE 2.0, HVPQ, etc.) and oil & gas major clearance processes.
• Coordinate internal/external audits, HSQE inspections, and onboard attendances.
• Investigate incidents and audit findings; issue and track corrective/preventive actions.
• Analyze HSQE and vetting KPIs to support continuous improvement.
• Drive safety, environmental, and quality initiatives across the fleet.
• Liaise with Class, Flag, and Port State Authorities as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in Maritime Studies/Engineering or equivalent seagoing experience (min. Chief Officer or 2nd Engineer).
• At least 3 years in a similar shore-based HSQE or vetting role.
• In-depth knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO standards, and vetting processes.
• Experience with LPG or product/chemical tankers preferred.
• Fluent in English with strong communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in HSQE systems, DANAOS and MS Office.
