Tsakos Shipping and Trading S.A., Paleo Faliro, seek to employ an experienced Vetting Officer to join the Vetting department of the company.

The candidate should have the following qualifications:

• University degree in Shipping or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a similar role or relevant sea service onboard tankers.
• Solid understanding of SIRE, Port State Control (PSC), and ISM/ISPS/MLC inspection frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both shore-based personnel and onboard crews.
• Fluency in English, including maritime terminology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards and Quality Assurance principles.
• Experience with data analysis and performance report preparation.
