Empire Bulkers Limited is looking to hire a Financial Reporting Accountant.  

Successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating environment under the supervision and guidance of an experienced Chief Accountant 

Main duties of the role: 

• review of book entries from junior accountants and treasurers 
• prepare advanced entries along with proper documentation and workings
• OPEX & TCE reports preparation / variance analysis against peers
• Cash Flow projections
• timely deliveries of reports requested by financiers and auditors     
• Participation in year-end books closing and Financial Statements preparation   

Ideal candidate is expected to have:  

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or in a related field from a recognized university
• experience in a similar position within the shipping industry or big-4 audit firm 
• literacy in MS Office and shipping ERPs
• good knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP accounting framework
