Velos Tankers, a dynamic shipping company, is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to support its global operations, reporting to the IT Manager. The role involves providing technical support to both shore-based teams and vessel crews, managing desktops, servers, networks, and software systems. Responsibilities include maintaining cloud platforms (Azure, Office 365, Active Directory, ERP Sys.), administering user accounts, and ensuring a secure and high-performing IT infrastructure. You will also attend vessels to install, upgrade, and troubleshoot IT, network, and SatCom equipment, working closely with third-party vendors to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate holds a degree in IT or a related field, has 3–5 years of hands-on IT support experience—preferably in both office and vessel environments—and is well-versed in enterprise infrastructure, onboard systems, and cloud technologies. Strong communication skills, excellent command of the English language & Greek, a proactive mindset, and readiness to travel are essential.
