We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, and coordinating banking activities in a dynamic and fast-paced shipping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post accounting entries in Danaos ERP (inflows & outflows).
• Review bank account balances and coordinate with the Financial Manager for daily and monthly payment planning.
• Conduct creditors aging analysis to manage outstanding payments.
• Execute all bank payments (Foreign and Greek banks) with accuracy and compliance.
• Manage daily communications with banks for all affiliated companies, ensuring smooth transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• University degree in Accounting, Tax or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping accounting.
• Knowledge of Danaos ERP.
• High attention to detail.
