Diana Wilhelmsen Management, an established Ship Management company located in Kallithea and specialising in dry bulk vessels, is seeking a Vessel Operator to join our team.

We are currently looking to strengthen our team by recruiting passionate, talented, enthusiastic, and highly committed professionals.

The responsibilities of the position include:

• Communication and support to the department and vessels for daily matters
• Verify pre-stowage plans
• Review Charter Parties, B/L, LOIs
• Monitoring and collection of freight
• Follow-up of vessels’ performance and preparation of Fleet Performance reports
• Analysis of vessels’ voyage abstracts & condition reports.
• Assisting in handling cargo and P&I claims.
• Enforcement and monitoring of holds cleaning and deck maintenance policy/ Monitoring stevedore damages.
• Interfacing fluently and professionally with Charterers and all relevant counter parties.
• Check and approve port agency disbursement accounts.

Qualifications/Skills:

• University degree in Maritime Studies or equivalent and/or sea service to maximum Captain Class B.
• Minimum 2 years office experience as Operator of Panamax/Ultramax/Handy size vessels
• Experience in using cargo loading software
• Experience in the use of DANAOS Freight Collection Module is an advantage.
• Very good command of English (Proficiency in English language will be an advantage) and computer literacy.
