Shipping company based in Glyfada currently operating a diverse fleet of product tankers and bulk carriers, is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant.  

Main duties of the role: 

• prepare advanced entries along with proper documentation and workings
• OPEX & TCE reports preparation / variance analysis against peers
• Cash Flow projections
• timely deliveries of reports requested by financiers and auditors (big4)     
• Participation in yearend books closing and Financial Statements preparation   

Ideal candidate is expected to have:  

• bachelor degree in Accounting or in a related field from a recognized university
• Five to ten years of experience in a similar senior position within the shipping industry or audit firm        
• Good knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP accounting framework
