Shipping company based in Southern Suburbs, currently operating a diverse fleet of 15 tankers and bulk carriers, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant.  
Successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating environment under the supervision and guidance of an experienced Chief Accountant 

Main duties of the role: 

• review of book entries from junior accountants and treasurers 
• prepare advanced entries along with proper documentation and workings
• OPEX & TCE reports preparation / variance analysis against peers
• Cash Flow projections
• timely deliveries of reports requested by financiers and auditors     
• Participation in yearend books closing and Financial Statements preparation   

Ideal candidate is expected to have:  

• bachelor degree in Accounting or in a related field from a recognized university
• Five to ten years of experience in a similar senior position within the shipping industry 
• literacy in MS Office and shipping ERPs
• Good knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP accounting framework
