A well-established shipping company in Glyfada with a modern fleet of bulk carriers, operating Handymax, Ultramax, Kamsarmax and Capesize is seeking a Senior Dry Bulk Operator to join their team.

The role's responsibilities include timely follow-up of vessel fixture details and implementing charter party (C/P) terms per company policy. Provide the Master with clear voyage instructions to guarantee compliance with C/P terms and Charterer directives. Monitor the vessel's performance through daily communication with involved parties, including Masters, Charterers, Port Agents, and Surveyors. Additionally, ensure the prompt issuance and delivery of cargo documents, verify pre-stowage plans, and confirm loading and discharging sequences. Maintained voyage records, managed cargo claims, and prepared freight and hire debit notes while verifying disbursement accounts (D/As).

Candidates must have at least 5 years working experience in the bulk carriers’ sector, with excellent command of English language, organizational and multitasking skills, ability to work under pressure, strong knowledge of Maritime regulations, Charter Parties and Port Operations, as well as good understanding of vessel’s Commercial exploitation. Resumes from candidates holding a Captain’s license Class A or B will be prioritized during the review process. Knowledge of Danaos ERP will be considered an asset.
