EPE is seeking a diligent and skilled Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cathodic Protection.
Role Description
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in executing engineering projects on-site, ensuring that all activities comply with specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. As a Site Engineer, you will serve as the primary liaison between the engineering team and the on-site construction staff, coordinate activities with all parties involved in project execution, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to project goals. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong commitment to quality and safety protocols and very good interpersonal skills. Main Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate engineering activities on site, ensuring effective execution of projects.
- Monitor progress and compliance with specifications and safety standards and implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the construction process.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, progress updates, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with project managers and third parties to align project objectives and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or in any other related engineering field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in any engineering sector with ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure project quality and compliance.
- Excellent computer, communication and interpersonal skills.
