We are a  shipping company in Glyfada Attika seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Superintendent to join our team in the Technical Department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in naval architecture and engineering, combined with hands-on experience in the shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and technical operations of vessels, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
• Coordinate and supervise repairs, dry-docking, and other technical activities.
• Monitor and manage vessel performance, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of vessels to ensure compliance with international and company standards.
• Prepare technical reports, budgets, and maintenance plans.
• Collaborate with the operations and crew management teams to ensure efficient vessel operations.

Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably as a surveyor or within a shipping company.
• Skills & Knowledge:
• Proficiency with Benefit PMS .
• Strong knowledge of relevant international maritime regulations and standards (e.g., SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code).
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
