Globus Shipmanagement Corp., a well established Shipping Company based in the Southern Suburbs Operating a fleet of 10 Kamsarmax and Ultramax Bulk Carriers, is looking for an experienced Operator to join its Operation Department.

The successful candidate must have at least 5 years working experience as a Dry Cargo Operator, with excellent command of English language, organizational and multitasking skills, ability to work under pressure, strong knowledge of Maritime regulations, Charter Parties and Port Operations, as well as good understanding of vessel’s Commercial exploitation.

Resumes of holders of Captain’s licence Class A or B will be considered with priority.

The Dry Bulk Operator Reports to the Operations Manager, with main responsibilities:

• To follow up the vessels’ fixture details also implementation of the C/P terms, in accordance with company's policy.
• To provide timely the Master with voyage instructions, ensuring his familiarization and compliance with all C/P terms and Charterers’ voyage instructions.
• To follow up the vessels’ voyages from the fixture and up to completion of the Charter, ensuring adequate vessel's performance, in accordance with the C/P terms, targeting in Charterers’ satisfaction.
• To follow up the daily communication with Masters, Charterers, Port Agents, Surveyors and any other involved party, ensuring vessels’ efficient Operation.
• To ensure the timely issuance, check and delivery of all essential cargo documents.
• To check the Pre stowage plans and load/discharge sequences, assisting the Masters.
• To keep voyage record for each vessel.
• To Handle Claims in cooperation with the Operation Manager.
• To be familiar with the Benefit software.
