A shipping company in Glyfada with a modern fleet of bulk carriers is seeking a Superintendent Engineer to join their team. The role involves providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for the vessel, conducting regular ship inspections, attending class/flag/PSC/Rightship surveys, and monitoring vessel technical operations, performance, maintenance, and repairs. It also involves preparing repair and drydocking specifications, as well as supervising to ensure compliance with the company’s SMS and standards. Additionally, the role includes evaluating onboard personnel, reporting to the office, and managing vessel lubricants, spare parts, and store requisitions in collaboration with the purchasing department.

Candidates must hold a university degree in engineering or a C/E or 2/E license, along with 5 years of relevant experience, strong skills in team management, organization, time-management, ethical, integrity, multitasking, frequently traveling flexibility. Experience with Danaos, MS Office and ERP software, knowledge of industry standards, with excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.
