Glyfada-based Ship Management Company is seeking to employ a Forwarding Officer to join its Forwarding Department where they will be responsible for:

• coordinating the forwarding of major supplies to vessels in the most efficient and cost-effective way
• monitoring vessels’ schedules and liaising with departments, vessels, Forwarders and Agents worldwide to consolidate shipments
• providing dispatch instructions and documentation for import/export formalities
• tracking shipments until they have safely reached their final destination
• negotiating prices and checking and approving invoices

The ideal candidate:

• holds a University degree in Logistics, Transport or a related field
• is fluent in English and Greek
• possesses excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills
• has a keen eye for detail
• can work under pressure, and
• is IT literate

Prior experience in a similar position is considered a considerable advantage.
