Enesel Group (Athens office), currently operating a diverse fleet of 29 vessels is currently looking for a highly motivated full-time Accountant to join the Accounts team reporting to Accounts Manager.
All existing vessels are constructed to the highest international standards in first-class shipyards. The entire fleet is chartered to high profile charterers and operators on both voyage and time-charter basis.

The successful applicant is expected to hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accountancy from a recognized University, has solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, a minimum of five years proven financial/ accounting in the shipping industry or related, and good understanding and handling of Hellenic Tax Law issues.
Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Book-keeping, budget preparation and control
- MGA
- Freight
- Performing Payments-Literate proficient with e-banking systems
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Assist on quarterly reporting
- Heavy involvement with month-end process
- Preparation of various periodical reports
- Other ad-hoc tasks as and when may be required
Personal characteristics:
- Faultless written and spoken English
- Conversant with ERP systems
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, good knowledge of other professional software (incl. payroll software).
- Tech savvy and feel comfortable using technology on daily basis.
- Sound knowledge of International Accounting standards and practices (IFRS).
- Exposure to year-end processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with preference for collaboration, action, accountability and developing of solutions/alternatives.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize requirements to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
