Shipping company based in Kifisia, managing a fleet of modern Bulk Carriers and Containers, is seeking to employ a Vessel Accountant.

Job Role

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annually accounts of the vessels and reporting to vessels’ Owners.
• Preparation of OPEX Actual vs Budget reports.
• Vessels’ cash flow management.
• Suppliers’ invoices posting.
• Vessels’ cash accounts entries and bank reconciliation.
• MGA review and posting to general ledger.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the accounting department of a Shipping Company.
• Diploma / Degree in Accounting.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Computer Literacy, advanced use of MS Office.
• Familiarity with ERP systems. Knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset.
• Initiative and ability to work both independently and as a team-member.
• Good organizational skills.
