Pleiades Shipping Agents S.A. seeks to employ a full-time experienced HSQE Co-Ordinator, who will be joining a dynamic team handling all aspects related to HSQE for a Fleet of Tankers.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role and the HSQE Co-Ordinator will be assisting with the overseeing of day-to-day health, safety, environmental, and quality management activities. This includes (among others) the developing and implementing policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, monitoring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental protection. Candidates who are strongly familiar with TMSA and ISM / ISO requirements will be preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in Maritime Studies OR Sea experience as Junior officer.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality management principles.
• Experience in developing and implementing HSQE policies and procedures will be an asset.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in the shipping or maritime industry is a plus
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English
• Good computer literacy
