Seamar Management S.A., part of a Nasdaq-listed group of companies, managing an expanding fleet of dry-bulk carriers, seeks an HSQE / Navigation Superintendent with 2 years of seagoing experience as a senior officer and/or at least 3 years of office experience in a similar role and ideally, familiar with modern management systems.

Responsibilities :

• Perform internal ISM/ISPS and ISO9001/14001 audits and report findings according to the Company’s Safety Management System.
• Perform training on board vessels, related to audit findings, HSQE campaigns, results of PSC / Flag inspections, etc.
• Carry out Navigational/ VDR audits and Risk assessment reviews.
• Ensuring compliance and efficient implementation of the Company's Integrated Management System and International Regulations onboard vessels.

Qualifications :

• The ideal candidate should preferably have a minimum 2 years of seagoing experience as a senior officer and/or at least 3 years of office experience in a similar role.
• Certified internal auditor ISM/ISPS/MLC -ISO9001, 14001 and excellent English command.
• Thorough knowledge of Navigational procedures and Requirements with the ability to conduct VDR Remote Audits.
• Strong analytical and training skills with the ability to conduct risk assessments, training onboard the vessels, and development of Campaigns.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork spirit are imperative.
