United Overseas Management (Hellas) Ltd, a shipping Company based in Marousi, Athens seeks to employ a Cost Controller. The position reports to the Director of the Tech department.

The Company outsources the crewing and technical management of its vessels, and the role will mainly focus on the successful co-operation with our technical managers and monitoring that the budget is being met. Core responsibilities will include:

• Involvement in the procurement process to ensure that the most beneficial quotations are selected.
• Ensure that proper procedures are followed by the technical managers from requisitions to final payments.
• Review of the monthly reports provided by the technical managers.
• Test samples of transactions to identify potential errors and savings.
• At a second phase, the role will also include additional responsibilities relating to in-house technical management.

Candidates must have relevant working experience of 4-5 years in cost controlling or audit/accounting of a shipping company. For interested candidates, please send your CV.
