ERMA FIRST ESK Engineering Solutions S.A is seeking to hire a Naval Architect to join the energy saving technologies team aiming to serve the needs of marine energy transition. The ERMA FIRST FLEX CAP is a product now entering the commercialization and upscaling stage and this position aims to extend and enhance the technical development capability.

Job description

Work on projects of existing products and engage in the development of new ones by conducting CFD calculations, Structural analysis, Ship performance analysis, Optimal Geometry Selection, Hull, propeller and other appendages modeling, Structural design, and assessment

Job requirements

• Diploma in naval architecture and marine engineering, with strong background on ship propulsion hydrodynamics and structural engineering.
• Professional experience in the design and development of marine structures
• Demonstrate understanding of ship structure to sea interaction and operation.
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks, Rhino 3D
• Working knowledge of CFD, (Star CCM+ an advantage)
• Strong analytical thinking and methodic approach of problem solving.
• Ability to maintain a positive and productive attitude under pressure in a fast-pacing role
• Self-motivated, well organized, highly collaborative, team player Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.
• Enthusiastic and energetic with excellent communication skills (written and oral) in both English and Greek
• Customer oriented
• Willing to travel
