Chemical Engineer or Chemist                                                            

Hellenic Environmental Center SA. is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Chemical Engineer or Chemist to join the company’s Research & Development Department.

The ideal candidate should cover the following requirements:

Qualifications

The ideal candidate preferably is a Chemical Engineer or Chemist with experience in hazardous waste management, environmental management, petroleum industry.

• Good knowledge of environmental national and European legislation 
• Knowledgeable in Health, Safety, Quality and Environment procedures
• Good communication skills  
• Fluent in English
• Team spirit and of good character is considered a must

Key Responsibilities

• Research of new technologies and techniques applied in waste management
• Review and implementation of new regulations and legislation in Company’s activities and permits
• Transboundary movement of waste
• Participation in preparation of technical files submitted in national and international tenders
• Assist with day to day departmental tasks
